More New York Comedy for You! 8/27-9/6
“Comedy Pregame” at the Experiment
An actual drinking game, in which the audience drinks every time a comedian says a certain phrase– timed just right (tonight at 7:30) for you to go out and make a fool of yourself after. Hosted by Rosa Escandon and featuring The Tusk’s own Alicia Camden.
“Goons” at The Annoyance
A sports-themed hour of improv, complete with referee, team-picking, and competition. Sunday nighst at 8:30 starting this week and going through to September 25th.
“Pasic and Platt: Orgy” at Union Hall
The brilliantly discomforting duo are at it again, this time trying to organize an orgy, in this slow-burning, longform work of improvisation-heavy sketch. Monday at 8:30.
Cartoon Monsoon at The Annoyance
Still my favorite. This Friday at 9:30 is a new installment, sure to feature cartoons, a sanctimonious puppet, and no parents.
Mary Houlihan & The Yellow Dress in “This Could be Anything” at Over the Eight
You (should) know Houlihan from Difficult People, Seriously.TV, The Best Show, and from being a hilarious actress and writer all over. The Yellow Dress are a cool rock band from San Francisco and they are all teaming up for a musical! Tuesday, September 6th at 8 pm.
